AI News đ°
Cloudflare is now blocking AI web crawlers by default and introducing its PayâPerâCrawl program, allowing website owners to charge AI companies for scraping content. â source
This is an important signal, forcing the AI economy to confront the reality that distribution has a cost and content has value. Cloudflare can help you license your content for training data, but publishers can't just block or license their way out of the existential problem AI presents.
Dappier provides a path to thrive in the new paradigm - check out our CTO Krish Arvapallyâs blog post on Dappier x Cloudflare.
Last week we covered Anthropicâs partial victory in one of several ongoing lawsuits around AI, copyright, and training data. Later that same week Meta won a similar case, though the presiding Judge took note to call out legal hurdles AI companies might face in future lawsuits. - source
Meta has also drawn plenty of attention for its hiring practices in recent weeks, building a âSuperintelligenceâ Lab and poaching large numbers of OpenAI leaders with promises of major-sized salaries.
OpenAI CEO Sam Altman announced GPTâ5 is expected to launch this summer, citing âmaterially improvedâ performance and emphasis on safety. GPTâ5 will eventually unify capabilities from GPTâ4o and o3 into a streamlined system. Also on the table? Ad integrations. â source
The âOutcomesâ Era isnât coming. Itâs already here. Deploy hyper-relevant ads within your own AI experiences today.
