• Meta is going all-in on AI search & building out its own search engine, according to exclusive reporting from The Information. The news comes as Google announced an expansion of its own AI search overviews into 100 more countries today. - source
  

• The first batch of Apple Intelligence features has begun to roll out on the latest iPhones. Apple is seemingly using its own internal AI to power these initial offerings, planing to deploy the first official Siri-ChatGPT integration this December. - source

• Salesforce today debuted its own AI agent management & development platform, AgentForce. Salesforce promises the ability to develop no and low-code automations for fully-autonomous task completion. Initial partners include OpenTable & Saks. - source

• A lost Mayan city has been discovered! A team of researchers from Northern Arizona University used lidar mapping to uncover previously undiscovered ruins. The city, dubbed Valeriana by researchers, includes several Pyramid Temples and signs of advanced irrigation techniques. - source
  

• Elections in Japan saw a shocking defeat for the incumbent coalition, which suffered its worst results in 15 years. The coalition, led by the Liberal Democratic Party, has been the majority party for almost the entirety of the nation’s post-war history. - source
